CBP has increased the Merchadise Processing Fee from .21% to .3464% This became effective the same time GSP and ATPA were renewed. I guess theyneeded to make up for the lost revenue somewhere.The minimum is still $25 and the maximum is still $485

These two free trade programs have been renewd and all entries filed on and after 11/07/2011 will be able to be entered duty free. I have been monitoring the automatic refunds for entries filed dutiable and CBP is starting to liquidate the oldest entries first. I see where some of our older entries will be liquidated at $0 duty on 12/23/2011. Your refunds should start coming by the end of the month.
